Dr. Sheila Mukiawa-Spangler, Vice President, MECUDA USA
Based in Cincinnati, Ohio, Dr. Sheila Mukiawa-Spangler brings seasoned leadership and an unwavering commitment to community service. She has successfully led the MECUDA Tri-State chapter, coordinated multiple national conventions, and served three terms as president of Ohio’s largest Cameroonian organization, CFC. Rooted in Meta heritage through her mother from Njinibi and father from Sang, Dr. Sheila embodies servant leadership and remains deeply devoted to MECUDA’s mission of unity, solidarity, and cultural pride.

Mercy Tanjong serves as Secretary General I of MECUDA USA,
Providing dedicated administrative leadership and organizational support. She plays a vital role in coordinating national communications, maintaining records, and ensuring effective implementation of the organization’s programs. Through her commitment and service, Mercy contributes to strengthening unity, structure, and progress within MECUDA.

Meet Dr. Max Kimberg, originally from Ku-Bome, Mbengwi, is based in Boston, Massachusetts. A dedicated researcher by profession, he brings analytical skills, discipline, and a commitment to excellence to his role as Assistant Secretary General. Tanwani Magaret – Financial Secretary, MECUDA USA
Tanwani Magaret serves as the Financial Secretary of MECUDA USA, bringing meticulous attention to detail and a strong commitment to financial transparency. With a passion for supporting the organization’s mission, she ensures accurate record-keeping, timely reporting, and effective management of funds to empower MECUDA USA’s initiatives and programs.

Linda Tamjong – Treasurer, MECUDA USALinda Tamjong serves as the Treasurer of MECUDA USA, overseeing the organization’s financial planning and management. Napoleon Tayong, Cultural Secretary I , MECUDA National Executive
Hailing from Chup village in Momo Division, North West Region of Cameroon, Napoleon Tayong serves as the Cultural Secretary of MECUDA USA. Now based in Akron, Ohio, he is a devoted family man, married with three children, and works in the healthcare field. With a strong commitment to preserving and promoting Meta culture, Napoleon plays a vital role in fostering unity, heritage, and cultural pride within the MECUDA community.

Lynda Teghen – Publicity Secretary, MECUDA USA
Lynda Teghen serves as the Publicity Secretary of MECUDA USA, driving communication and engagement across all platforms. With a focus on promoting the organization’s events, initiatives, and achievements, she ensures that MECUDA USA’s message reaches members and the wider community effectively and creatively.

Ma Elizabeth Anang serves as the Vice Cultural Secratory of MECUDA USA National, where she plays a key role in promoting, preserving, and celebrating our cultural heritage within the community. In her role, she supports cultural initiatives, coordinates traditional events, and works closely with leadership to strengthen unity and identity among members across the United States.
